There were two instances where he was able to
to get breakdowns to win that game.
So yeah, I think like the Highlanders, they kind of marry up their game with how Jimmy's skill set is in terms of what his array of skills are.
So yeah, I think even though Jimmy does wear the number 12, he still plays like a loose forward, very similar to what Leicester's doing at the Crusaders.
I think you could, I just don't think having probably both of them would be my kind of option, unless you go to a 7-1 split, which it does open up the opportunity to be able to do that when you select those guys that are able to play in the forwards and in the backs.
But Leicester, and the fact that he is playing number seven and playing for the forwards, it does open the opportunity for when he is selected for the All Blacks that
he could be put into that kind of role in the 23 role with what we do see with Ester Hazen because he is playing number seven.
Now, I think Jimmy is more so in and around battling for the midfielder spots, I think, but the fact that he isn't playing in the forwards.
So you could do it, Ross, but then you also think around line-out options as well.
If you do have two of them and they are playing as forwards, so to speak, then having those line-out options is pretty important when it comes to line-out parity.
So,
Yeah, you could, but no, I just think it's a little bit different, I think, with Leicester playing in the loose forwards.
You'd probably see him more as a forward option than you would seeing Tava Tava Ngawai with the Highlanders only being at the midfield for this year and the last couple of years.
Well he can do it that's for sure with the kind of things that Jip touched on because yeah you think to me that's why he's so impressive to watch you know not a big man coming to height wise but just built very thickly around the lower body and being very very strong in that power and you know being able to get over there but sometimes I think to myself I'm like how's he got through that?
How's he got through two big loose forwards or a lock and an eight?
And he's going straight through them through the front door.
So you're talking around your loose forwards and getting over the advantage line.
Yeah, he could definitely do it.
So yeah, maybe we can give Jamie Joe a call and be able to get him play number eight to be able to start.
That'd be great to see.
