I think, look, Morby and his skill set and his consistency, like he was very consistent in playing very, very good rugby before he left to go to Europe, but he seemed that he's just come back and his consistency, like he doesn't do a lot of errors.
He makes the right decisions at the right time, whether it's through an offload or his decision making around with ball in hand and
He's got a triple threat game, even though he is on the wing.
He's played fullback a lot of his time, whether it was through Southland, through MPC, early parts of his career.
So the aerial game is very strong in and around that.
And defensively has worked really well with that high line speed defense with Finnegan and all four in that Hurricanes group.
So consistency, I think definitely with the way that he is playing.
So yes, he's been able to score four tries and that's a big talking point, but
all the things that he does in his triple threat game, and so how consistent he is.
It'll be definitely something Dave Rennie will be looking at with his performances, not only on the weekend, but throughout the year as well.
Yeah, it is, but I think it just depended on what kind of style you want.
And look, I think if you had, we talked around Caleb Clarke and Tangi Tau, and he's deserving, he'll be, he's going to beat Tangi Tau.
So, you know, if you want that explosiveness and the ability to be able to play, to be able to beat players one-on-one in the era game with both of them, then you've got those two to be able to work together.
But then if you do look back in the glory years when
steve hanson was kind of coaching he had julian severe he was that power winger and then you would have an israel dad or ben smith there on the right wing who complimented each other really really nicely so i definitely do see more being that kind of um in that kind of realm being able to complement the power winger with his array of skills in the way that he does use his skill set which i think is really important because i think if you do look at dave rennie and i look back to one person probably in his time at the chiefs like was james lowe
James I had a really good skill set around not having that tangi tail or Caleb Clarke kind of skill set but his ability to be able to kick, make good decisions, being really consistent and being able to be energetic and working hard off the ball, Morby has a lot of those traits and along with Ben Smith and Israel Dagg that Juppe touched on.
It's horses for courses in terms of what kind of style you want, but I think with Morby and the way he is playing, how consistent he is, I just like that he doesn't make mistakes, Ross.
In test matches when the margins are so small, you can back on that performance of Morby being able to not do anything that's costing your team or putting your team under pressure.
That's one thing I love about Josh Morby, his consistency that he's done for a long period of time since coming back as well.
But then I think just lastly on that one, I think also like, you know, with Josh Moore being on the right wing, he's a right footer as well.
