My friend says, hey, our flight just got suspended.
And I was like, oh, boy.
Well, I guess we're stuck here for a few hours.
I did not realize it was going to be a few days.
And then we started to get the alerts on the phone.
The phone started blowing up saying, missile alert.
Seek shelter.
That was very scary.
And then we look out the window and we watched a missile get intercepted by, I believe, the Abu Dhabi government, watched the explosion.
And we have a few pictures of the smoke from it.
It was terrifying.
And then we contacted our parents who were also freaking out, understandably.
Everybody wanted to help, whether it was parents, our community, our parishes.
Everybody was praying.
I mean, we had thousands of prayers.
It was really heartwarming, actually.
You see in those really dire moments, you see just the goodness of people's hearts.
