How did you create the buff character?

Uh, that's a good question.

I, uh,

I hated my real name.

I mean, that's a little harsh.

I didn't hate my name.

I just didn't want to be called my real name.

I think everybody wants a character, a gimmick.

You want to be, you know, the flying magician.

The Terminator.

You know, you want to be something.

And at the time I came in, everybody had a gimmick.

And then there's Marcus Alexander Bagwell.

I mean, Johnny B-Bad, Mark Merrow, he rode me in the ground over that.

He would say, to Cole Scorpio and Marcus Alexander Bagwell.

He rode me so hard.

that years later he called me and apologized.

He said, brother, I'm sorry I did that to you because obviously you found your gimmick and I'm out of the business and you're in it.

So congratulations, you know.
