But I don't know if they've looked into ancient alpha-gal yet.
Well, the big thing that a lot of the veterinarians and livestock folks were talking about was screwworm, certainly, but also the Asian longhorn tick carries a deadly disease.
I forget the name of it, but it's starting to spread, and it's in, I think, 24 states now.

I think it was first identified in New Jersey about 20 years ago or 15 years ago.
And it's already spreading all across the country.
So that's a thing people are really worried about.
You know, the interesting thing is, like, if you look at the statistics for the number of people catching these things, you know, babesiosis can kill you.
Ehrlichiosis can kill you.
What are those two?

don't get this wrong i think that's a parasite-borne one but i'm not sure but it's it causes terrible chills and it can um but those are such small percentages compared to lime and alpha gal i mean lime is 10 times as as prevalent as they are and alpha gal i mean the most recent tracking data from virginia this year um the number of people who are reporting alpha gal um the blood tests are
that are reporting alpha-gal positive, it's 10 times the size of people with Lyme disease.
So it's really spreading at a huge rate.
So it's a different scale that we're talking about with those two diseases.
