I would often go to NBC after school and on the weekends and during the summer.

And when I was there waiting for my mother to get off work, giving tours of NBC.

So you would go and you'd get a tour of all the studios.

Later, my mom became a publicist there in the publicity and the marketing department.

And I was waiting for her and I'm standing there and I'm watching this guy named Johnny Carson tape The Tonight Show.

And then I would walk across the hall and I'd watch this guy named Red Fox tape Sanford and Son.
