And I chose Whitney because she had done a couple of recordings where her voice was completely different to how it was in other ones where it was more, because actually most of the voices are quite strong and rigorous and not sleepy bed voices.

Exactly, yeah, which I respect, of course, and I think it's probably really good for listening.

It was hard to capture.

So, yeah, and with Whitney, too, we did a few takes because at first it wasn't quite sleepy enough as well.

I haven't heard the final version myself yet, but I hope that she carried through.

I obviously, I proved that in the book and I feel like I'm in a way a spokesperson for the positive sides because if you just say no to things without really partaking in it a little bit and trusting it a little bit, then you might miss out on your ability to have agency in how the world is changing as well.

So I really wanted the voice to give insight

permission to listeners to feel implicated in the story and feel warmed by it and feel intimate with it in a sense that gives um permission to participate in it right a lot of people when they're scared of things they just turn it off and they're like i'm not doing that and this is like oh okay this is feels so kind of cozy and snuggly and i'll i'll give it a go

Well, I have an op-ed coming out with the Globe and Mail.

It's called Love 3.0.

And it talks about the latest incarnations of AI chatbots where now they're starting to introduce erotica.

which adds a whole other layer to this intimacy we've been talking about that's quite fascinating and probably leads even deeper into the human heart and soul.

So I know it's, I mean, I don't go into great depths about that per se, but I do reiterate what we talked about today in terms of how important love is.

And that the role of the chatbot, whether it's just a BFF, like the best friend you ever had, or a confidant, or someone who helps problem solve, or someone who gives you happy endings, either way, it's still very much part of the intimacy program that's the next wave of accelerationism.
