But she just had this incredible life, moved into more interesting movies, worked with Richard Burton, did Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, proved she was an incredible actress.
Then she got really fat and sad and went into rehab and the whole world was laughing at her.
Complete downside.
Like, half of Joan Rivers' routine at that time was just making fat jokes about Elizabeth Taylor.
She goes to rehab and when she comes out, she's like...
I've got so many gay male friends who've died of AIDS.

That's the other thing.
People think that she was a total diva and a bitch and she took care of herself and she was salty in her language and she got things done.
