So I was like, oh yeah.
Yes, I knew.
I can confirm that.
As a baby, I could have confirmed that for you.
It was a rug with a sort of batik kind of black and white print on it.
And everything else in the flat at that time was very psychedelic and bright colours and swirly.
So it was in Brighton.
It was a third floor flat.
And my parents are John Moran and Margaret Moran.
And they are at this point unmarried.
But a couple of months later, they marry with me as the bridesmaid.
Back then you would be meeting, I mean, obviously it's weird me saying this about my dad, but people have said this when they meet my dad, an incredibly handsome man, very charismatic.
Like everyone, my husband, when he first met him, went, he's such a handsome man, which is always quite alarming to hear your husband saying that about your father.
So he was Irish-Welsh, very Celtic, piercing blue eyes, huge mane of hair, a hippie.
He was a drummer, so he was very physical, he was very fit, like a lone preacher man type personality.
He would speak in huge long speeches, all of his theories, all of his knowledges, all of his jokes, all of his anecdotes.
Very compelling man.
Not perhaps an amazing father, very low tolerance for children, even ones that he created himself, but definitely sort of the biggest noise in the room.
And then my mother, we realised when we were of age to start looking at the albums that were in their house, looked exactly like Mick Jagger, circa Their Satanic Majesty's Request, but in a beautiful lady way.
You know, I mean, Jagger looked like a girl, didn't he?
