And uh I joined the investment club on campus and um I was it and again, like your this is goes goes without saying I very much this is a very male dominated industry and I can talk about some of that too, like about being a woman in the industry too, but
Um
I just came into the investment club on campus and um there was an another guy that was a member and he just somebody said somebody recommended to me.
They said, you know what you should try to do?
You should try to go into trading with your computer science degree.
And I'm like, What's trading?
And I remember I asked my grandpa, who I was very close with at the time, he um
was a uh physicist at the University of Chicago back in the day.
And then he was a professor in physics at like Purdue and everything.
We were very close.
And I just randomly asked him one day, like, what's trading?
And
He was like, oh, like that I can't remember his answer exactly, but I think he said something about like it's a bunch of guys yelling at each other on a floor.
And I'm like, why are people recommending this to me to do?
Like that doesn't sound very like fun, but yeah, so I just try to visualize you have to imagine.
I'm trying to visualize what why are people telling me to go into trading then?
But um I just there was a guy that I was in the investigation.
husband club with and I pinged him on Facebook and I was like, Hey, like I'd love a referral because everyone was telling me to go into trading.
He was a options trading intern at uh Group One Trading, which is a very uh top firm in Chicago in the options trading space, but
