think about what I wanted to do uh in my next
Move so was a couple summers later that I did a quant researcher internship.
at uh the Chicago Board of Trade with a small firm there.
I think they were acquired though.
It was um clear capital groups.
Okay.
Um and that I had a lot of ownership in because I worked on this one strategy most of the summer.
It was an order and balance trading strategy.
And I learned about machine learning much more.
And that was a huge passion of mine was machine learning when I was entering the second half of my
undergrad career in Compsci.
And at the time I had only worked with like stationary data and I'm learning about nonstationary data sets.
And I was like, I would still ask people these questions even to this day, like, how do you sort of work with nonstationary data in terms of a machine learning algorithm?
Like super I was using a supervised learning algorithm.
We gotta figure it out.
But like
I thought that was a really big challenge point for me was like actually understanding sequential data, putting fitting these into the models, like
kind of go about the process the same way as you would with any sort of like static data set or whatever it is you're using.
But
Um, I yeah, researched that, back tested it.
