And the longer this goes on, the more and more knock-on impacts that we're seeing right across the price of everything in this country at the moment.

But you know, we are facing into a winter here now of very high oil prices and what that's going to mean for Americans.

Um, I think the reports we're hearing them here in the US media of, you know, a spring twenty twenty nine uh for a resolution to this conflict, I think

uh an acknowledgement of that would be

You know, after these midterm elections, President Trump just deciding that he's going to leave that problem for somebody else to deal with.

And he's very, very focused on what his personal legacy is and can he deliver something else?

Um, I think we could see that potentially happening.

Um, whether his party stick with him and support him.

I mean they don't really have a choice in a way, especially if Republicans end up being out of power in both houses and Congress.

Um, you know, President Trump then is a lame duck president in every possible way.

um term to term term limited and without any control in the where the laws are made.

So I think in that instance you'll see the Republican Party pretty quickly after this election moving to try and

solidify and rally around who's going to be their candidate in 2028.

And is it going to be somebody in the shape of Trump, a MAGA candidate, or are they going to try and reset that?

I'd be really interested to see what JD Vance says tonight.

He's going to be at that mini convention and tonight he's taking to the stage.

He'll be followed up by President Trump, who's going to close it out as he says.

But this is JD Vance's opportunity

To kind of set out maybe what his stall is going to look like after these midterm elections.
