well i'd love to believe that's true i think it is true um you know it probably doesn't happen overnight but even if you look at in the last 20 years the number of canadians getting drafted going to going college in the states for baseball um get making it to the big leagues like i'm gonna mess up the number but it's something like you know i think it's over 20 canadians have played in the big leagues this year right so i think we're seeing it happen and now the numbers are kind of hitting that breaking point where it's like obvious that it's happening um

On a bigger stage, I think, you know, there's not a team in baseball that isn't aware of the talent in Canada, right?
Everyone's got a scout here now, multiple scouts here now.
No one's kind of slipping through the cracks like they used to.
And, you know, even if hockey will always be, you know, the number one kind of pastime, I think there's more than enough great athletes in Canada for us to continue to have good baseball.
