He was a slinger for many, many years, a very good pitcher and thrower and slinger.
But I think he's really adopting and adapting into being an actual pitcher of the baseball and realizing that, you know what, now that I have all these other weapons, I don't have to max out my fastball.

I've got plenty of protection with the other pitches that even 96 plays after I've thrown the 78 Monarch changeup or thrown in a knuckle curve.
