You don't hit him.
You don't, you don't aggressively attack him.
You wait for him and that wounded dog to just step in the trap.
And they, I felt like they totally let him off the hook by chasing him all around the zone.
And like, you can just tell, you can tell by the swings, you can tell by the contact when you're swinging at a pitch and hitting it close to your hands.
And it's not two strikes.
You're probably looking somewhere on the outer half.
Like if you're off the end of the bat and you're in an advantage count, you're probably
looking close to you and they threw it away it's just obvious that that they relaxed their game plan to me at times because they did it like you just said the first two games very very close pitches that they typically in this season have been releasing on that they checked down and that told me wow they're really really stubborn in a certain approach and it just felt like with Soriano they had it
And then they let him off the hook.
And then before you know it, he retires, I think 20 batters in a row.
And look, he was good, but he wasn't great.
He really wasn't great.
They just let him off the hook with a lot of early release, weak contact.
And he just, he dominated the game.
So it's putting together four or five, six, seven, eight straight games of that.
And then you can see where you're at.
But if you keep taking two steps forward, two steps back, it's going to be a tough season.
