But then you just have, you've got some moments where you feel it and you start to feel that pressure as a player, whether it's June, May, late May, you just kind of, you know, it's building and you know, you've got to turn it.
And so everyone's trying to do something to impact the game when all they really should be trying to do is just make the simple play.
What happens is you try and do a little bit more, you cheat a little bit to a ball in the
in the hole and you leave yourself exposed up the middle you try and make it up and you end up throwing a bad throw.
I've seen it so many times and I do I do believe that this team is just in a collective funk all the way around.
It's all phases.
It's pitching.
It's defense.
Face running hasn't been atrocious, but at times we've seen some real mental lapses.
And it's just, again, the word that comes to mind is inconsistent.
It's just too bad because if everything kind of went the way they wanted, I think they'd be in decent shape.
But, man, it just seems like everything has gone wrong for this team.
Oh, man, I think he's really allowing the other side to kind of dictate a little bit too much.
I kind of like it when he says, forget it.
I'm going back to bread and butter.
I'm kind of doing what I need to do.
And sometimes that happens because maybe you just physically don't feel great.
And I'll be honest with you, at his age, with the amount of miles he has on that arm, losing, it just makes the four days after your start just feel a little bit more sore, a little bit more groggy.
When you're winning, it feels like you can get through some soreness.
You can get through some physical stuff much easier.
