The last four or five games, he has started to – and it's not glorifying –

swing decisions.

It's more or less sticking to a plan.

It's more or less they're throwing him fastballs on the inner part of the plate, have a little run on him, which he typically has made a pass at and jammed himself.

I'm seeing him start to take those pitches and then be ready for something further away from him.

Then once he starts leaning on some stuff further away from him, then he can step in the bucket a little bit and cheat to the poolside.

So it's not necessarily...

exactly that he's taking pitches, but it's how he's doing it.

And it gives me a clear indicator of what he's looking for.

When I caught behind him, it was so obvious right out.

And then it was my educated guess to see if he was going to change in game at bat.

Remember facing him in Houston.

And there were a couple of times that I tried to go in there early after the first at bat, I stayed away and I, and he had cheated and he got me to the pool side.

And so it was, I was just very clear.

First hundred at bats, he was swinging at everything, making week early outs.

And that's just not like him.

If he's really disciplined, he's going to get deeper in accounts because he's going to wait them out and then be able to take advantage of mistakes.

You sure hope so.
