One thing, too, the sadness in the locker room right after the game, I think a big part of this is, Dan, and I knew...
that it was a good locker room.
I guess I didn't realize until yesterday how close of a locker room it was.
And what it really hit home to me was when Jalen Johnson said, pretty much without hesitating, and we'll hear it a little bit later, that this is the best locker room he's ever been a part of.
What's this, his sixth year?
With the Bears?
I mean, that's a long time, man.
And he's made a lot of friends through his years in those locker rooms.
And it's interesting, player for player, there was a legit sadness that I have never seen covering the Chicago Bears in this predicament when the season is over and it's locker clean-out day and you lose the final game of the year.
Like, chemistry has to be recreated with new faces in here.
And you're not promised that you're going to get that same harmony, that same bond within that locker room.
And I think that's what really...
And so like, that's a big deal, you know, and you're going to try to find the right guys that fit this culture, but there's no guarantee that it's going to be identical to what you were able to do this season, which was a big part of why they had all that belief in the late game clutch moments that created the season that this was.
