I guess I tuned you out there.
As we have to do from time to time, Dan, before we let you go, I want to put this Ryan Poles lens on it.
Because obviously he had a fantastic offseason, which is pretty much undeniable now, given what's taken place this season.
I can't even picture a world where he matches what he did last offseason with this offseason.
The challenges are just so unique and different from the challenges he had with the blank slate of last year.
And like, it's just super hard.
And there's just daily things that need to be done to continually put yourself in position to handle the details that get you there.
And it's from the general manager's chair down to the third-string quarterback's chair to everywhere else around the building.
You've got to figure out how to stabilize all of that.
Dan Weterer said it well, and I'm glad to hear I wasn't the only one empathizing with the Bills and Broncos.
You guys go empathize together.
I've already had no time for it, Dan.
My hands are full with the empathy that I've had to put forth my whole life for the Chicago Bears, Dan.
I don't have time for other quarterbacks and other franchises.
I'm sorry.
Again, it's a heavy day here at House Hall, and you feel it when you walk in the front doors here.
And it's not going to lift anytime soon.
It's going to be that way for a little while.
