I'll tell you what nobody's talking about.
The McCaskies.
The stadium.
Well, also, I think the thing is, if you're mad about him going for it and not making it, you also got to be mad about him going for it and making it then?
Not necessarily, because you may have been pressured into one of those fourth down decisions because you didn't get the points on the board to begin with.
So you're saying it's more of a situational game?
Like if it's fourth quarter, it's different than when it's the first quarter, obviously, and then where you are on the field?
I get the logic as to why people say, oh, well, the touchdown came on a fourth and goal situation.
Point is, it came on a fourth down call.
But at the same time, you don't have to make as many of those if you've gotten the money in the bank already.
I've said it before.
I am like a yes on Ben Johnson being aggressive and going for it on fourth down.
I've also said before, and here we are talking about it,
There's an opportunity cost to coaches like Dan Campbell who go for it.
Dan Campbell is a very popular man in Detroit.
He's been the least popular man several times in Detroit because of some of the times that he has gone for it and made, quote, mistakes.
This is what we are going to be dealing with with Ben Johnson every single year that he is here.
So buckle up.
Well, it is situational.
Like, it can be that you go for it more often when you're playing from behind.
