Some teams won't talk during the season, but for whatever it's worth, there has not been any substantive talks with Brisker about extending him.

It is interesting because we don't know how they're going to handle things.

There's no precedent because this is their first offseason after going through a season.

So we don't know what the timetable is for them with current players that are coming to an end or even with a year left on their contract.

Might I also say that we haven't been in a position where we wanted this many good players to stay after an offseason.

I didn't think this totality of a season was in him just because I was worried about his health.
