It would take me three days to recover.
One of the things I had, I envisioned was that when people come to this office, that we will smile at.
They fight so hard to take the most important thing away from us because they see the people you vote for can't help you.
And the people that can help you, they are not allowed to run for office.
When I was on the unit and, you know, they was telling me I was going to get the death penalty.
Everybody was telling me that because my lawyers weren't going to come see me.
They had the same lawyers that I had, the same judge, same prosecutor, and they had the death penalty.
And so when I asked them, how can I help myself?
They said I had to become a lawyer.
But it was no legal material.
I used to get the newspaper and I used to be so excited when wealthy people got arrested for crimes because every time they wrote something about this high profile case, they would put some law in it.
And so I would make my own law book.
And this is one of my law books.
What struck me about those guys was that they had no clue what was happening to them.
You know, it was hard for them to understand what was actually happening because a lot of them had really serious mental things going.
I accepted the job personally as the job is to make sure that they don't harm themselves, that they keep hope alive.
That put me back on trial.
So now this guy's challenging me.
He's doing the same thing that I fought for, what, 28 years to prove my innocence?
