Um, for them to, you know, imagine raising money and starting a company and growing a high growth company.
Um, it's just not something that people typically do in the South.
You know, an entrepreneur in the South is, is, is like, I'm going to start a bar or a restaurant, you know?
And, uh,
And it's no knock on them.
It's just a different way of thinking.
I mean, it's a very kind of a risk averse part of the country.
And I would say, you know, when you're 20 years old, you have nothing, absolutely nothing to lose.
I mean, the idea that your friends might be making more money than you and they're like 21, 22, 23, none of that matters.
Like literally none of it matters.
this is the perfect time when you aren't married, when you don't have kids, we don't have a mortgage to pay to, to really put it on the line and try to do something big.
And, uh, I would, I would certainly have, have done that right out of the bat or right out of the, uh, the gate.
If, uh, if, if, if I had been convinced by myself at that age, I would have, uh,
Maybe gone to work for a company for a year or two, but then immediately gone into something that I wanted to start myself.
