Yeah, mate, it's really hard.
And I think a lot of that work for me is done in the week leading up to the game.
Everybody on the same page, everybody in the right frame of mind, ready to go after a game and not really worry what goes on out there.
And, you know, those weeks where you know we're training guys, they've got stuff going on, everyone's a bit, you know,
Separated and just the eyes a bit glazed and once you get on the field in those situations almost too late But yeah last night we I think we we got 20 tackles on our trial on and then they scored that try but You know, you're just gonna know in this modern game that there's gonna be periods like that Like there's that many big strong athletes in the game.
You can do everything, right?
some big bloke runs and bit of footwork bump get down you hold on too long and there's six again goes and then that Momentum happens.
That's gonna happen.
But I think what we did last night was, yeah, Troy got scored after, I think, 20-something tackles, and then we kicked off, got back to work, and I think we ended up getting another one just after that ourselves.
So it's more the reaction to it, eh?
Because you can't, like, there's going to be periods for every team.
And how you react and get out of that's probably what the most important thing is rather than trying to just stop it happening because it's going to happen.
Yeah, he came to the club.
He originally left the Dragons and then was just going to have a run with Uteon and then
I think the Sharks just got wind of it and said, oh, we'll come have a training trial.
And then came in impressed, and then he's gone from there.
And, mate, his first year at the club, like he – I mean, I have a clubman of the year for a player, but it would have been him.
Like, he was that selfless, just boys love having him around.
So he's a great character.
But from a talent standpoint, I think he's always had it.
