Yeah, I'd say he has one of the higher floors in the draft, absolutely.
So if things didn't work out, maybe he's a third line winger, maybe is kind of like the worst case scenario.
If he doesn't end up sticking, you know, he played the majority of the season down the middle, but he did play some wing as well too.
And that is always a difficult transition going to the big leagues.
So that'll be something to watch for us too, but I don't really have too much hesitation that he'll be a center.
And I think that it's very, very likely that he's like a number two center.
And then you hope that he has a little more juice and get up to number one.
I think the answer yes to both is that certainly playing with skilled players on a good team, on a highly offensive team, like the Bulldogs here, they generated a lot, but he was a driver for it, especially down the stretch and in the playoffs that, you know, with another top 10 pick and Jake O'Brien there too, with Adam Benak and Merrick Benacker, like they had a lot of skilled players.
He was their best player, especially in the playoffs.
And so it's not empty calorie points.
He's not chiseling off the power play and then going quiet at five on five.
He is a player who you can rely on in all situations.
And he's someone who does get into the interior of the ice.
He will get through the dotted line.
He's not afraid to get to the net front and score some dirty goals too.
And like I said, use that speed off the rush and then cut to the net.
So all these things, again, at the junior level, but as a rookie too, right?
Like he stepped out of junior A and he instantly became like one of the best players in the OHL this past season, you know, especially considering his age.
So I certainly think the upside is there.
Yeah, it doesn't bother me at all that he didn't produce in the BCHL because he produced in the OHL.
