I was gonna say it's really hard.
We we preach it all the time, right?
Everybody sees it on social media, we say it to each other all the time.
Trust your dog, trust your dog, all that kind of stuff.
But man, how hard is it to trust the dog sometimes?
Because we get it in our own heads, right?
Yep.
Yeah, I think one of the biggest confidence builders is for a handler is going through that exact situation that you ha that you just described.
It isn't always finding the thing, it's being vindicated when your dog said there's nothing there and then they don't believe you, but then they go through it and find out your dog was right.
Because like you said, they have their information, their biases, whatever that they're running with to give the handlers, you know, some info before they begin their search.
And then like you just said, the handler now is carrying all this pressure because everybody wants in on whatever it is or they they need the dog to locate it.
And when it doesn't go to the way that they thought it was supposed to go, we are now still going, Well, I trust my dog.
I hope.
And then you find out that you were right.
Yeah.
You're like, damn right, I trust my dog.
But there's that shaky period of time between when an indication or no indication happens, when it's validated one way or the other, it's hard to go through that delay and go, I God, I hope I'm right.
Yeah, this damn dog better get me, you know, make me look good.
