Otherwise, it it's that first experience of going, Okay, you got me this time.

I didn't trust it because I thought it was a bunch of food.

My dog was right.

And and it was kind of funny because Natalie just shared a video on social media a couple days ago where she loaded all these boxes in her training building with food.

And put food with a dopide.

Or in this case the bombhide.

And

She she admitted she's like the first time that the dog went past the dog was like food moved on, food moved on, food odor moved on because it was so used to disregarding the food that food plus odor

didn't catch her attention r like it almost fooled her.

Then she reversed her way back and was like, Well, wait a second and then the dog went, Oh, it is it is this, but there's food here.

But N like Natalie said, had I not, you know, or had I just been typical as walked on the leash and just walked off, I might have not got that.

But she showed she shared the video on social media of like how she set it up for a reason because a lot of times we don't think about even in a protocol system like boxes, putting food with the with the odor item to expose to that dog in a very controlled way what that looks like.

So it's the fact you guys brought that up is a is a really cool thing.

Because

Again, it's easier for me to get to go, Oh, I don't trust that 'cause I can visually see it's a pile of garbage or a pile of pile of food or you know, again, lessons learned in Iraq and Afghanistan, handlers going, Oh, it's a dead goat, but it was a dead goat filled with explosives in it.

Meanwhile, the dog's trying to drag them to it.

The dog they're like, I don't want you to smell the dead goat.

So they pull the dog off and then boom, it goes b you know, so lessons are learned in blood, unfortunately.

But

This is the thing I think a lot of new handlers can learn from is again, as we say it all the time, trust your dog, but it's much easier to say than to do.
