Once a dog indicates, do you guys just flag that and then another detective comes in and hand searches it?

Or like you mentioned earlier, if there's another dog handler there, the dog throws change, full final response, whatever it is.

What happens at that point?

Do you guys continue on with the search and somebody else goes hands on?

Or do you guys kind of stop for the moment and then go check the i area?

Okay.

So So question on that is do you guys also practice that sequence in training where your dog finds something in training that you set up, you pull the dog back, praise, let somebody go up to do you guys go through that that kind of experience for the dog before you go operational?

Uh describe how that goes for you guys to i or is the real world the prep that starts happening?

And that's important because I think what happens t frequently and where the rub starts going on one side versus the other side, should you reward, not reward?

If you don't ever do it except for real searches, that's the risk that one side will argue about, well, now the dog will start gaming it.

And there's truth to that.

But on the on the other side of the coin is the other side says, Well, I don't want to reinforce because there's any number of reasons.

Safety, um

Especially in your guys' environment, safety is going to be a really big one.

But I also, because you guys work so much, I don't want to potentially look at the risk of

You know, it would take more than just one time, but in generally speaking, I want to be careful about it because you guys do work so much of imprinting or associating some other non-target thing to the sequence.

So both all everybody's right.

The thing that I've learned or I try to share is well, whatever you do operationally, practice it in in training so that way the dog doesn't start going, well, this rule only happens under this operational context, and whatever fallout might come from.

from that and every dog's different handlers are different, so on and so forth.
