Yeah, no, don't fall in that trap.
It's easy trap to fall into, but I love that you highlighted being creative and coming up with ideas to put odor in this or set it up like that, because the more creative we are, the better you're probably to prepare the dog to deal with this weird thing that they might see at some point.
It may not be exactly like that, but if they had a version of experience with dealing with something submerged, that can be actually something that helps you later on that you didn't even know or planning for.
So And we can train for that.
We can legitimately train that.
Yeah.
You know, and and we don't do that enough.
Now, I was gonna a add this as as the last part for Adam.
You got a new handler right there.
There this isn't about the dog.
This this is about you talking to that new canine handler who's gonna be in this unit with you.
Is there anything that you would tell them about maybe something about situational awareness, how to how to look at a room before you deploy the dog or and then how to look at the room when you deploy the dog?
What inf information would you give a fellow but new handler as they come into this dog excluded?
Mm-hmm.
Uh it's you know
The more I've done this, the longer I've done it, seeing all the different units that are out there.
I think the the biggest takeaways that I always share now is what you guys have already said.
Drop the ego, be creative, be open minded and understand there's pros and cons to everything and some things work better than others.
There isn't a one size fits all when it comes to this.
No.
