Now, Ioanni's older brother Salah also spoke in court on Wednesday and said he had wanted the centre to undergo mental health checks due to head knocks he sustained over his career.

The prosecution had opposed Ioanni's bail, which he was applying for, over fears he would not behave appropriately if he was released.
