So you're welcome to move to Texas and open up an apartment for somebody else to get.
But at the end of the day, this is just a bogus narrative that people don't buy anymore.
Like sure, wealthy people who live in a bubble, who don't actually have to meet regular normal people in their day-to-day life, they could think this all they want, but it's a lot of talk and it's a lot of nonsense.
And fortunately, the city of New York has sent these people a message, which is,
We're not buying it.
Like, we're not stupid.
We're not going to listen to these narratives that try to sow seeds of division in a city where unity is one of its greatest strengths.
Well, to the kids married and sex part, I think a lot of that has to do with affordability.
I could not imagine having children right now because it is unbelievably expensive.
And that's no matter where you live in this country, it has become so much more expensive to be a person.
Most people in Gen Z are living with their parents right now.
If you can't afford to get out of your parents' house, how are you going to afford to have a kid?
Having a kid was a very expensive thing to do 10 years ago.
And 10 years ago, it was a lot cheaper to be a person.
As for the politics of it all...
there's a lot of factors to which this can be attributed.
But I think one of the most important things for us to focus on is the fact that in 2020, we all got locked in our homes and we all started staring at screens all day.
