I'm not even Catholic, but I think that the Catholic God saw J.D.
Vance in front of the Pope and said, OK, Pope, you have been so good.
You have put so much love and acceptance into this world.
And you having to talk to J.D.
Vance has made me realize that you've been through too much.
So you've done more than I could have ever asked of you.
You have put the values that our religion claims to represent into the world.
You've been such an incredible Pope.
Finally, you can come to heaven and hang out with Ross Perot.
So I don't think JD has, I don't think he's got the juice to kill the Pope.
I think the Pope is more spiritually powerful than JD Vance.
I think JD Vance just represented human sin.
JD Vance, sort of like Eve biting the apple in the first book of the Bible.
Human sin embodied came in front of the Pope and the poach welcomed the couch fucker and he said,
hey, JD, don't fuck any of the couches that we have in the Vatican, but, you know, it's nice to meet you.
And God said, okay, you have done so much for humanity.
Come to my holy, warm embrace.
I'm glad that we've referenced Incredibles and Star Wars on this episode just to balance out references to the Three Stooges and the Bible because if we're talking about Gen Z, evoking the Three Stooges might not be the best idea.
The same thing happens on my show at the Bulwark FY pod is this is the Gen Z show, but the references that I pull, like in our last episode, we talked about Ross Perot and Foghorn Leghorn.
