And unfortunately the gate was closed and I missed my chance to get on that flight.
And in the same way, we live in a time where I think we're so afraid to speak the truth about eternity and the truth about heaven and the truth about hell, because we want to sound loving.
We want to make everyone feel comfortable.
We want everyone to feel like, yeah, whatever you believe, whatever you think,
Any ticket will get you there.
Any plane will get you there.
Any gate will take you there.
You can be a good person.
You can, you know, just go to church on Easter.
You can believe any religion, like as long as you, and we believe these things and we
We speak those things and we don't speak the truth a lot of times because we're afraid of that kind of uncomfortable feeling or that uncomfortable conversation.
But the truth is what is loving because if we're not speaking the truth and it's ultimately leading them to a bad destination, say I would have gotten on one of those planes and it took me to
you know, a country overseas that was in the middle of war, you know, and I got on that plane and I landed right in the middle of that.
And I'm like, wait, you told me that this was going to take me to my destination in Aspen, Colorado.
Like, and now I'm in the middle of a war-torn country that wouldn't have been loving.
And so, you know, Jesus is really clear in John 14, 6, that I am the way.
the truth and the life.
And no one comes to the Father except through me.
There is one way Jesus is the true ticket to heaven.
He is the only way to eternal life.
