Wow.
It really was my identity.
I'm Candace.
I'm an actress.
And so-
The first time that it felt really awful to realize that my identity was in being an actor was when I was pregnant with Natasha.
I've told this story before, but I was very pregnant.
And I went up to the butcher counter to get some ground meat to cook for dinner.
And the butcher was like, hey, aren't you that girl on Full House?
Now, mind you, I was 21 years old, 21 or 22 years old.
And I said, yeah, I am.
And he kind of looked at my pregnant belly and he's like, oh, like, what are you working on now?
And I was like, oh, I'm not.
I'm just I'm I'm married and I'm a mom now.
And he was like, oh, and he just had this disappointment in his face.
And he got me my half a pound of ground meat, whatever.
And I walked away.
But I I turned around.
from that counter picking up the rest of my groceries.
And I honestly felt terrible.
