Now, in hindsight, practically speaking, this means that within a space of about 72 hours, someone approached Erica and thought that the right thing to ask or say was, hey, I know you're going through a lot right now, but is it okay if we put your name up for the position of CEO and can we put that to a board vote today?
Are you willing and able to take over as the chairman and the CEO in Charlie's stead?
To which Erica had to have replied, yes, she had to give her consent for that to go up for a board vote.
Okay, that's just a fact that had to take place.
How it happened, exactly when it was said, somebody felt that was appropriate to say that.
Now, my first 72 hours was a little bit different.
