You're asking friends and family for money, which is really hard sometimes, you know, and like so.

So there's a lot of investment, you know, either financially or emotionally or, you know, you know, effort, time.

to go on trips to support this right and then you get there and you're like okay how can I help right but then it's also hard because you know to be the most helpful in the situation is also to not be like the star right it's also to be like the observer right and so like recognizing that actually you know what like being here and being supportive financially is actually like

sometimes the biggest help because the people who are moving those finances are the local communities, right?

And so they're actually, you know, for them to be the ones taking action to make that stuff happen is actually, that's the true goals.

And we are the ones coming to, you know, support financially because that's what we're bringing, the resources, right?

To make things happen.

But then like, it's important that they're the ones doing it.

And of course we can help and like, you know, provide, you know, there is like, we do incorporate moments of volunteer work with like,

Helping with some of that physical labor that, you know, moving bricks, you know, moving cement, like doing stuff that needs to happen anyway.

I think that's important for everyone to feel involved in part of that process.

But there's also part of it that's just like, you know, recognizing that individuals are not the stars.

You know, we are in a very important way.

But actually, to make things successful, the community needs to be the one that's like making this.

So it's like it's an interesting.

Right, right.

And I mean, this is something that has, you know, we've run at this point 30 treks over 10 years.
