We miss that we can actually build it completely different and we can actually have a business that gives us a life.
Building wealth isn't about just money.
It's about building a rich life so that you can say yes to things that you wanna do and you don't have to do all those things that distract you during the day.
A lot of times entrepreneurs are really majoring in very minor things.
It's like they think a lot of the urgent is also important, but they don't always equal.
Just because something is urgent doesn't mean that it's important.
And every single time you jump in to be an employee in your company, you're also teaching your other employees to constantly need you.
So it's like the child that throws a tantrum and then you go, oh my gosh, and you coddle them and they're just going to throw more tantrums to get your attention.
Business is very simple.
When you have people that are like, oh my gosh, well, let's just reach out to Heather.
She'll be able to know the answer.
And then you do, you're teaching them to always come to you.
That's not leadership.
That's management.
So now you're managing people as opposed to leading them.
