And China has basically glommed on to the narrative to say that Japan is the aggressor because of what prime minister said.
Rationally, Prime Minister Takeuchi rationally said, and over the ensuing weeks, the Chinese, I've never seen this in all my years, ratcheted up the rhetoric, the political warfare, the cognitive warfare, the information warfare, talking about if you do anything in this, you're playing with fire and you'll get burned.
