There's no dragon or anything back in Alpha.

And so it's kind of like you just have the overworld and you can build some stuff, but that it wasn't really terribly compelling.

It was more just getting on the servers with friends and maybe messing around and building something.

There's this God there's a clip that's just been lost to the ages, which I still think is one of like the funniest experiences I ever had and would have been just an incredible video to still have, but I wasn't even recording at the time.

We were just playing.

And it was like the first house I'm building on a server with friends and we're like, Oh, and it looks so cool if we'd put a lava mode around the thing and the whole house just goes up in flames.

It just like the laughter of all of us together.

I'm just like, God, this would have been amazing to have.

Um but unfortunately it just lost to the ages.

So it was like it was less about me.

I've never been the big architect, do some mega build, hermit craft kind of thing.

It's been more about

just the various experiences that people have built on top of the game or doing mod packs and I like having an end objective in what I do.

So it's kind of difficult for me to just exclusively take the base game and just go forever and ever.

Like some people have had a world for ten years, fifteen years like Ethos Lab or something like that.

And I've never been able to to take that approach.

always feel like I need to be working towards something that can be achieved.

And so it kind of took a while before Minecraft had a lot of that infrastructure set up.
