Fun because oh nobody at my school is interested in games, but there's these people online who will want to watch this, so why don't I show off getting good scores?

Well, no, it's like the you can't help how when something becomes recognized as an avenue to make money, that you are going to have venture capital and private equity, so on and so forth, interested in leveraging that in order to try to build businesses.

And that means that people are

Starting a channel from zero subscribers day one, backed by huge amounts of capital, and it's like we have to turn this around and we have to make this a business.

Yeah, and that's a totally different approach.

And it's not that that is a a wrong approach to things, but it's just different and it's not a strategy that I've ever really been able to wrap my head around because I've always just kind of gone off gut feeling of is this interesting, is this cool?

I don't have a business plan.

I don't need to strategize as to how to make this a profitable venture.

It's just, is this a cool thing to make a video on?

Do I think people want to watch?

Okay, great.

And that strategy, to be fair, it still does work for people today.
