it's awesome you're you're 18 and you never expected to be making anything and so all of a sudden you know you after doing this for six months you get a check for like a thousand dollars oh really oh my god it's like not bad money either no i mean i'm like this is the biggest check i've ever seen in my life at 18 years old this is amazing and can i ask as a gamer as well did you immediately click with minecraft and go oh i could play this for 16 years

No, because I think that it's evolved so much over the years and so much of what Minecraft is and what sustained it is like all the user-generated content.

So in the very beginning, it's pretty limited because you don't have all that user-generated content, and they don't even have a completed single-player campaign.

There's no Dragon or anything back in Alpha.

it wasn't really terribly compelling it was more just getting on the servers with friends and maybe messing around and building something there's this yeah god there's a clip that's been lost to the ages which i still think is one of like the funniest experiences i ever had would have been just an incredible video to still have but i wasn't even recording at the time we were just playing and it was like the first house i'm building on a server with friends and we're like oh and it looks so cool if we put a lava mode around the thing and the whole house just goes up in flames and
