I'm going to be really cynical here.

It feels like Spurs now have...

come to the conclusion that whatever approach they had previously wasn't working and now they are going to spend them a lot of money to get out of the hole and they're going to build everything around what the Zerby wants, which if the Zerby stays, two thumbs up, that's a good idea.

But the Zerby is such a combustible figure that there is part of me wondering if this might not all quickly unravel if he decides actually...

if something happens in the way that the Zerbi has had complaints in the past.

So Brighton appeared to have a very good working relationship with the Zerbi, and then it got to a point where the Zerbi had some success, and they went, well, I want more autonomy, give me some more money.

So I don't expect them to finish in the bottom half next season.
