I think this World Cup, the expansion of the 48 teams, what you are seeing is the gap between the sort of historically large nations and the relative newcomers to World Cup football has got smaller and smaller and smaller.

There's a bunch of reasons for that.

There's just improvements in coaching, scouting, everything there.

I think the changing in FIFA rules that makes it easier for players of dual heritage or mixed heritage to play for different nations also helps.

So there are fewer players who perhaps have France on the 19 and on the 21 caps just being locked out of playing international football.

They're now able to play for Morocco or Tunisia or anyone else there too.

And yeah, it's been really fun.

I think a good point from Henry there mentioning the Nations League, which means now international countries are almost locked into playing their own regions for a bit longer.
