They want more of your money.
And by hook or crook, usually crook, they're going to try to do this.
The mileage tax would charge you every mile you drive on top of a gas tax, on top of a car tax.
In California, they're proposing a six cent per mile mileage tax.
15,000 miles, which is the average mileage on a car per year, that's $900 more.
