We have to think a bit differently about how we can coordinate.

Well, I think I'm hoping, you know, sometimes you have to shut down half the world for everybody to go.

We get we've got to do something differently.

We are doing an amazing amount of trials and I think what it can be done.

It just needs everybody to start working together, doesn't it?

And then you'd be able to say, we could have answered this question, chloroquine questions, other questions rapidly, and we'd be able to view it in the public so clinicians can make decisions in real time.

Yeah, it's very important this point.

Case fatality rate means you're explaining the death rate in all those cases that you've detected disease and have a positive test.

However, what you really want to know is the infection fatality rate.

how many deaths have incurred in the whole population of all the people that are infected.

And in this case, half the people are asymptomatic, so they'll never turn up for testing.

So you immediately know any case fatality rates are an overestimate and at least double what the mortality rate is likely to be in all of those infected.

Well, yeah, look, just look at today's figure.

The case fatality rate varies between 12.8% and 0.2%.

Israel is the lowest, actually, today at 0.2%.

So you know there's huge variation.

Then numbers vary over time.
