Yet here we are talking in the women's game about the possibility of promotion and no relegation.

So that one for me doesn't, we'll go back to Sue's word, fair, doesn't seem fair.

If we were in Villa's shoes, what would I want?

I would want promotion and relegation.

So for me, I would have to say you'd steer towards promotion and relegation on Sport and Integrity.

But I must admit, I've changed my mind a number of times in the previous sort of week.

I've gone void, promotion, void, promotion, relegation.

I've gone back and forth with it, but there's just one that sticks out of a sore thumb that just can't happen, and that's promotion and no relegation.

And there are a couple of fixtures they're missing, I think.

We had sort of six to play and it's a tough one because, like I said before, I absolutely don't envy sort of the decision makers here and somebody's going to be aggrieved, you know.

But if it did go to points per game, then we'd wish Villa all the best in their promotion because they've been good value for it up to now in particular.

yeah listen i've seen a lot of arguments recently on twitter but you can't compare the two we're talking you know you look at the money in the men's game um you're talking hundreds of millions of pounds every weekend um for for the women's season to be completed it's going to be an awful lot of money and that could essentially cripple clubs and uh you look at the longevity of the clubs it puts it into doubt so um for me the right decision um will be made um it's frustrating yeah
