Um, but there's a whole chapter in this book about how Robert Morgenthau, who was the US attorney for the Southern District of New York, you know, pursued Cohn like extensively, obsessively, right?
Um, a colleague says that Cohn was Morgenthal's white whale.
Um
Cohn was also eventually disbarred shortly before his death by the state of New York.
And it could seem sort of meaningless happening at that point, but his own identity as a lawyer really mattered to Cone.
And that was that was a big deal.
Right.
Um so
You know, I'm thinking about when is it institutions, when is it people?
Um, the the journalist Jacob Weisberg has a book coming out um called Profiles in Cowardice that I'm I'm I'm reading through right now.
