You see ingredients like dextromethorphan and phenylephrine that literally do not even work.

This happens all the time because in my mom groups, I'll meet a parent and they're giving their kid

this cough syrup and then i have to be like okay let me give you all of this and please give that to me so i can throw it in the garbage because that's got dextromethorphan and phenylephrine in it and your little one does not need that because it's been proven that phenylephrine doesn't actually even do anything for our bodies there was actually a really big study looking at upper pediatric respiratory infections and it compared dextromethorphan to honey and the kids using honey

Just as much relief as the dextromethorphan.

So when you see a study like that, why would you give a kid a chemical?

When you are in a mom group or you're meeting new mom friends and they are giving their kids something that like you and I are like, no way we would never give our kid that.

How do you approach the subject to not like shame them or make them feel bad, but inform them?

So look, it's really hard because being a mom is really hard.

And I'm sure there are things that I have done or will do that could be greatly improved.

And for me, if somebody witnessed me doing something, I really would just appreciate the constructive feedback.

So usually this happens a lot, actually, because in my mom groups all the time, people are like, oh, my God, my little one's sick or I've got a newborn and are like,

three-year-olds at preschool and everyone at the preschool is sick.

What do I do?

And so I actually, instead of being like, don't give this, I'm like, here, let me gift you some stuff.

That's it.

I don't tell them that I'm the founder of this company.

I don't say anything.

I'm just like, I work for this company.

Let me gift you some stuff.

And they 100% of the time come back to me and are like, oh, my God, that worked.
