President Trump confirmed this afternoon that the U.S.-Israeli airstrikes in Iran killed the country's supreme leader, Ayatollah Khamenei.

Posting on Truth Social, President Trump called Khamenei one of the most evil people in history.

And Iran is fighting back, and the fighting is intensifying.

Fox's Trey Yingstis in Tel Aviv, the site of a missile strike.

And key members of Congress are demanding a swift vote on war powers resolution that would restrain President Trump's military attack on Iran.

Democrats and some Republicans argued the president must seek approval from Congress for what they warn is potentially illegal campaign and risk pulling the U.S.

into a deeper Middle East conflict.
