President Trump says he would impose tariffs on eight European countries unless Denmark agrees to, in his words, the complete and total purchase of Greenland.
GOP Senator Pete Ricketts tells Fox News that he agrees with the president that the Danish territory is essential to U.S.
The president says next month he would slap 10 percent tariffs on Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, Britain, the Netherlands and Finland.
And if there is no deal by Greenland by June, he would raise the tariffs to 25 percent.
