When I left UCLA to go to New York, my friend said, what are you going to do?
I said, I'm going to go to New York and I'm going to be in a show directed by George Abbott.
Now, George Abbott was Mr. Broadway.
He directed Pajama Game, Damn Yankees.
He was the musical director of all time.
And I said that, I'm going to be, okay.
You put it out there in the universe.
So what happened was, you know, I was in New York for a while and then I got a chance to audition for a re, they were going to reissue, not reissue, redo a show called Babes in Arms that Rogers and Hammerstein wrote.
And they were going to open it in Florida and bring it to Broadway.
